| 02/18/09 - They are always hiring here, and of course it seems like a great place to work and make money. It's owned by Jay-Z and two friends, but it isn't as glamourous as one might think. The managers are awful, they don't know what they're doing so they in turn ruin business. They pay no attention to your availability, I worked a month of 6 day 8-9 hour shifts. The money is only good on Saturdays. And you are outside hustling people to buy bottles, it's tacky and classless and I promise you'll wish you never wasted your time. | 06/04/09 - Worst place ever! The management is pure crap and the owners wife (who basically runs the show) is a raging biatch. The way sections are distributed is totally unfair and biased and you basically have to beg people standing on the line to come inside and buy bottles or rent rooms in order to make money. Yes, you will feel like a complete idiot doing this. I had never felt more embarrassed in my life. Oh, and if you feel your tips are incorrectly handled by managers, speaking up will probably cost you your job. There's a reason why they post ads for staff every other week. Stay far far away. I repeatedly had rightfully unhappy guests be given attitude by MANAGEMENT, and then was expected to server angry customers. Consequently you'd be verbally abused for poor sales. | 03/19/10 - DO NOT APPLY HERE!!!!! I've been a waiter at restaurants for over 4 years and this has to be the most poorly run place ever! First off they don't really train you, they just tell you to memorize the bottle prices (which vary from their NY and AC locations, something that cost me a write up). Then they totally ignore your availability schedule.
